Things were by no means plain sailing when Anton Hilpoltsteiner founded ELWA in 1931. However, with considerable boldness and entrepreneurial far-sightedness, he laid the foundations for what is, today, a globally leading company. Much has changed since then. The fundamentals have remained unchanged though: boldness and entrepreneurial far-sightedness.
